Previous Employment Details:

I am currently working as a Hose Assembly Technician for Pirtek, based in Goldfields Mine. I started working there in June 2021. My regular activities include assembling and fitment of hydraulic hoses into the mining machinery. Issuing invoices for hydraulic hoses and fittings issued to the mine. Managing stock levels and issuing hydrocarbons to the mine.

Prior to the mines, I was a Brewing Teamleader 2IC at the South African Breweries. I started to act for the Teamleader in June 2017 up to September 2019. My duties entailed managing a brewing shift team in the absence of the permanent Brewing Teamleader. Managing raw materials, utilities and labour resources availability. Brewhouse, Fermentation Cellars and Filtration production planning. Managing breakdowns, process deviations and quality non-conformance throughout the brewing process, from Silos all the way to bright beer cellars. Preparing a comprehensive shift report and a handover to the incoming shift.

Concurrently with intermittent acting for the Brewing Teamleader, my permanent position was a Process Operator based in filtration. My regular duties included planning of the filtration process in accordance with the brewery packaging plan and maturation cellars beer availability. Running filtration process and deaerated water production. Analysis and recording of beer quality results into Laboratory Information Management System. Performing filter lines, Deaerated water plants, and bright beer tanks CIP's. Making up of flavourants for flavoured beer production. Application of the problem solving techniques used for serious deviations. Updating visual performance management charts and preparing filtration hand over for incoming shift.
